Congressman Brian Jack hosted United States Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Scott Turner in Pike County, Georgia. The two attended services at Christ Chapel and Harvest Time Revival Church in Zebulon.
“I pledged to bring America’s leaders to our communities to showcase the incredible things happening across Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District,” said Congressman Jack. “I’m honored to keep that promise, and we’re already planning more visits in the coming months.”
During the church services, Secretary Turner, who previously played in the NFL, spoke about his faith and his journey from a challenging childhood to professional football and later serving in President Trump’s cabinet.
Secretary Turner’s visit is the seventh by a member of President Trump’s Cabinet to Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District this year.
Earlier visits included Vice President JD Vance, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler promoting H.R. 1 – One Big Beautiful Bill Act in Peachtree City on August 21; Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins attending an event at EchoPark Speedway on June 28; Secretary of Energy Chris Wright visiting Spalding County on May 2 for legislation related to local jobs; and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler touring Troup County businesses on April 17.
In the previous general election held in 2024, Brian Jack won against Maura Keller with over 66% of the vote.
