Former East Coweta High School standout Ashleigh Griffin played on Friday, May 16 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division I Softball Championship

On Friday, May 16, former East Coweta High School standout Ashleigh Griffin’s current collegiate team the UCF Knights lost 3-4 against the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field at 1:05 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Michigan Wolverines in the tournament.

The UCF Knights’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3:55 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
