Graduates earn 490 degrees, certificates from DeVry University-Georgia

About 73.1 percent of the 490 degrees and certificates handed out by DeVry University-Georgia in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Decatur conferred 205 master’s degrees and 141 bachelor’s degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master’s degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 91 master’s degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 88 bachelor’s degrees in “other” business administration, management and operations and 45 associate’s degrees in computer systems networking and telecommunications.

The university enrolled 1,181 students for 2017-18, including 902 in undergraduate programs and 279 in graduate programs.
