The Greater Haralson Chamber recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome the “Love Can Build A Briggs” charitable foundation as an official member. The event took place at the Chamber’s location in Waco, Georgia, on May 9.

“Love Can Build A Briggs,” founded in memory of Briggs Ingram, is a nonprofit organization focused on drowning prevention and providing grief support to families who have suffered loss. The foundation aims to promote water safety education and advocacy while offering compassionate assistance to those in need.

Elizabeth Langley from the Greater Haralson Chamber expressed appreciation for the organization’s efforts: “We were honored to celebrate the mission and impact of ‘Love Can Build A Briggs’ in our community. Their dedication to saving lives and supporting grieving families was both powerful and deeply needed.”

The ceremony was open to the public, attracting community leaders, Chamber members, and supporters who came together to acknowledge the foundation’s contributions. Attendees had the chance to meet with founders, learn about various programs offered by the organization, and show their support for its mission.
