Today, Congressman Brian Jack and House Republicans successfully passed H.R. 1, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, a key piece of legislation associated with President Trump. This bill is described as delivering the largest tax cut in American history.

Congressman Jack, who is part of the House Rules Committee, played a significant role in advancing this legislation. The committee engaged in an extensive 21-hour hearing that began at 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday and concluded just before the bill’s final passage.

“I am incredibly proud to cast our vote from Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District in support of President Trump’s signature campaign promise: The One Big Beautiful Bill Act,” stated Congressman Brian Jack.

The bill aims to provide substantial tax cuts, build President Trump’s proposed border wall, and eliminate wasteful spending from government programs. It also seeks to implement policies such as no taxes on tips or overtime and offers historic tax relief for senior citizens.

“Today’s vote will unleash our economy and usher in a new Golden Age for Georgia’s 3rd Congressional District and the United States of America,” Congressman Jack added.

As a budget reconciliation bill, H.R. 1 bypasses the Senate’s filibuster rules, requiring only a simple majority for passage. The Senate will next consider this legislation.
