Mercantile Café opens in downtown Bremen with support from local chamber

The Greater Haralson Chamber hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, September 12, to mark the grand opening of The Mercantile Café at 211 Hamilton Avenue in downtown Bremen, Georgia. The event drew community members, business leaders, and residents who gathered to welcome the new establishment.

The Mercantile Café combines elements of historic charm with modern dining and features a menu alongside a marketplace that offers curated gifts and gourmet products. The café is operated by founders known locally for their previous venture, Country Bears Mercantile in Tallapoosa, Georgia, and for their more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Elizabeth Langley, Director of Marketing for the Greater Haralson Chamber, commented on the opening: “The Mercantile Café is a fantastic addition to our community. It’s businesses like these that help make our community vibrant and unique.
