Class/Event Description:
While the global pandemic has prevented us from meeting in person, many of the Get Healthy, Live Well Coalition task forces have continued working to improve the health of residents in our communities. And with the help of numerous community partners and volunteers, they have achieved many successes over the last year and a half.
We continue leveraging our strengths to achieve our community health goals and impact social determinants of health, but COVID-19 has dramatically altered our region’s social and healthcare landscape. We’re fortunate to already have an effort like ours that is resolute in improving our community’s health, because our work ahead is going to be more vital than ever.
This is our chance to come together, call on our shared expertise and insight, and identify these new challenges and plan for the resources that will be necessary to address them.
