The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Marcus Flowers, Marcus Flowers Exploratory Committee Limited, refunded $1,000 to Colleen Canaan on Sept. 20, according to the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

FEC data shows the refunded expenditure was for: "Contribution refund to an individual, partnership or limited liability company."

Marcus Flowers Exploratory Committee Limited has refunded $25,024 total since April 1.
