County Commissioners and Administrative Staff Serve Up Thanksgiving Luncheon For County Employees

Webp genbusiness009

County of Meriwether recently issued the following announcement.

Each year the County Commissioners have a Thanksgiving Luncheon for County employees in which most everyone would meet, fix themselves a plate and sit and fellowship to celebrate the Thanksgiving Holiday. With COVID in 2020 and 2021 things have been much different. With trying to keep up with COVID and Safety protocols county personnel have not been able to meet in such a way.

But thanks to the hard work of our Board of Commissioners and Administrative staff who have rolled up their sleeves and prepared Thanksgiving meals for each county employee which are sent out to each department, the tradition continues. In the pictures you'll see: Commissioner Rosla Plant, Commissioner Buster McCoy, Commissioner Beth Hadley, County Administrator Michelle Irizarry, County Clerk Beverly Thomas, Deputy County Clerk Allyson Stephens, Finance Director Bill Gregory, Finance Clerk Doris Flournoy, IDA Exec Director Jane Fryar, and not pictured but photos courtesy of Commissioner Bryan Threadgill.
