City of Newnan recently issued the following announcement.
Join the Newnan Carnegie Library on December 7, 2021 at 2:30 pm for a one-day history class taught by Dr. Steve Goodson from the University of West Georgia's history department. He will talk about Pearl Harbor Day, why we remember it, why the United States joined World War Two, why the Japanese were fighting, and what it's significance was on our history.
"It's so nice being able to have another history program at the Carnegie. We always seem to have such interesting topics brought up," says Anthony Urda, the Newnan Carnegie Library Adult Event Coordinator.
Online registration is required for this event, so please visit the Newnan Carnegie Library website calendar page to sign up.
