Why: Piedmont Macon Medical Center and Piedmont Macon North Hospital are hosting a “get to know us” event for registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and clinical leaders.
Attendees of Nurses Night Out will be able to network with other nurses, meet leaders from Piedmont’s two Macon hospitals and experience why Piedmont employees “come for the job and stay for the people.”
Piedmont has a work force of more than 37,000 who care for 3.4 million patients across 1,400 locations and serving communities that comprise 80 percent of Georgia’s population. This includes 19 hospitals, 55 Piedmont Urgent Care centers, 25 Quickcare locations, 1,875 Piedmont Clinic Physician practices and more than 2,800 Piedmont Clinic members.
“This is an opportunity for nurses in Middle Georgia to learn more about our culture and our passion at Piedmont that drives our A+ service and A+ Leapfrog quality,” said Sheri Testani, chief nursing officer for Piedmont Macon and Macon North.
Refreshments will be served at the event at Hotel Forty Five, one of downtown Macon’s newest venues.
