REZONING REQUEST
The Mayor and City Council of Tallapoosa shall hold a public hearing at 6:00 pm, Monday, April 10, 2023 in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
CURRENT ZONING:
Tax Map 37, parcel #25 & 26: R-50, Single Family Residential (minimum lot size of half an acre)
REQUESTED ZONING:
Tax Map 37, parcel number #25 & 26: M-2, Heavy Manufacturing
Rezoning request is from Mark Stiles, on behalf of property owners Ronald & Thomas Ellis. The two parcels contain approximately 125.00 acres of land, and is currently vacant land.
PURPOSE: To develop the property into warehousing industrial property – proposal currently includes 4 warehouse use buildings.
The Tallapoosa Planning Commission shall conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on Monday, April 3, 2023 at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at City Hall. All interested citizens are invited to attend and give their input.
