How many inmates sentenced to serve in Carroll County might be released during April?

The sentences of three inmates in Carroll County could be completed in April, releasing them from the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections.

These inmates have a maximum possible release date that falls in April. The State considers these dates as when the longest-running sentence with time served for a criminal is set to expire. The actual release date of those incarcerated in Georgia jails could happen earlier due to the inmate being granted clemency.

The inmate who could be released during April who served the longest amount of time was Bennie McIntosh for Aggravated Assault. Bennie McIntosh spent more than 20 years incarcerated.
