Deasia Merrill, former Villa Rica High School standout’s collegiate team plays on Friday, March 21 in Division I NCAA Basketball Championship Tournament

On Friday, March 21, former Villa Rica High School standout Deasia Merrill’s current collegiate team the TCU Horned Frogs won 73-51 against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena, this was the first game against the Fairleigh Dickinson Knights during the championship.

The TCU Horned Frogs’ next game will take place on Sunday, March 23 at 6 p.m. in Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena against Louisville Cardinals.

Deasia Merrill’s game position is forward.
