Cost of college went up for all students at LaGrange College

Tuition and fees rose 3.5 percent for 2018-19 at LaGrange College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Georgia students paid $30,500 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,020 more than the $29,480 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 273 students received grants or scholarships totaling $6.2 million and 218 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.8 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,029), 925 students used grants or scholarships totaling $20.5 million, and 705 students took out $4.7 million in federal student loans.
