Tai Jackson earned a fifth place honor and was awarded a $100 scholarship for "Amarilla mia bella" by Giullo Caccini. Another senior, Madison Brown, received an honorable mention for her performance of "Nel cor piu non mi sento," arranged by Giovanni Paisello. Their teacher is Julie Lowry, choral director and vocal instructor.

Band student Emily Grace Hicks, a sophomore, was awarded fourth place and a $200 scholarship for her flute performance of "Romance by Georges Brun, Op. 41." She is a member of the Trojan Band under the direction of Chris Carr.
