There were 15,329 students enrolled in Carroll County School District in the 2022-23 school year, 3.6% more than the previous year, according to reports from the Georgia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 52% of them were male, and 48% were female.

Data also shows that most of the students were white, representing 62% of the Carroll County School District's total enrollment.

Carroll County School District roughly covers 24 schools within Carroll County and has a main office in Carrollton.

Among the 24 schools in Carroll County School District, Villa Rica High School recorded the highest enrollment of 1,752 students in the 2022-23 school year.

Chronic absenteeism in Georgia has declined from its 2022 peak of 25%, but it still remains above pre-pandemic levels (11.8%). In 2024, about 20.7% of all students in the state missed 10% or more of their classes.
